TalkU2 welcomes glorious disagreement. It does not ask anyone to absorb hostility in exchange for belonging.
No “banter” exemption
Gendered insults, sexualized remarks, intimidation, dog-piling, and unwanted private messages are not rescued by calling them jokes.
No doxxing. Ever.
Do not publish, solicit, or threaten to reveal another person’s name, email, address, workplace, phone number, IP address, or other private identifying information.
Stay with the conversation
Do not follow disputes across threads or recruit others into a pile-on. Take a pause when a moderator asks.
Politics has a door, not a loophole
The opt-in space permits strong political disagreement. The same conduct floor still applies.
Moderation is explainable
Actions follow a visible path: reminder, formal warning, temporary restriction, and suspension when necessary.
WHEN SOMETHING GOES WRONG
Report it. Don’t perform it.
Flag the post or message and give the team room to respond. Public call-out threads often amplify the harm and turn moderation into theatre.
