That was a particularly sad Passing for me. Just days befoe, the crowdfunder was set up for her, due to her going public with health battle. Few days later.....GONE....so very sad indeed.
I wasnt an L7 fan, but i have been know to watch their performnce, they did, on UK Culture show (The Word), in the early 90s (Pretend we're Dead). Just one of those performances i enjoy hugely. RIP Jenn x
Haha, yes that would probably be their somewhat well-known song in the UK, just due to that performance.

Sad one for me - Dee Palmer, arranger/composer/organist with Jethro Tull throughout the '70s, has passed away according to Ian Anderson. She was a major part of the sound for Songs From The Wood and Heavy Horses, two of their very best albums.
Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip died Tuesday from brain cancer. The Hip were huge in their home country of Canada, but for some reason never broke internationally. They were a great band who peaked in the 90's and had a catalogue of great songs.
I strongly urge any U2 fan to check out these songs. Some of the best songs from anyone in that era.
