Could U2 do a 10 night residency at WS?
Coldplay did in 2025. Although years past there musical peak. U2 did struggle to sell out 4 & 2 shows in 93 & 97. But tickets are easier to get now. They prefer playing different l

Isn't it funny how in a building full of cops, Doakes is the only one I give the creeps.
Almost like they're the most incompetent police force on the face of God's green earth.

Given the copy/paste nature of a typical U2 tour, one could be forgiven for thinking that the band are the puppets.
U2 are the supporting artist in this scenario.
Yes, that's how bad it is. Puppet Show. U2.

Ok, I can take a decent stab at it, but come on. It's that hard to just write things out?
Could U2 play even a single night at WS? Without their organs falling out of their asses? I don't know. It's a hard one.
Marty: The last time Tap toured America, they where, uh, booked into 10,000 seat arenas, and 15,000 seat venues, and it seems that now, on their current tour they're being booked into 1,200 seat arenas, 1,500 seat arenas, and uh I was just wondering, does this mean uh...the popularity of the group is waning?
Ian: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no...no, no, not at all. I, I, I just think that the.. uh.. their appeal is becoming more selective.
Puppet Show U2
I told them a hundred times, put 'U2’ first and 'Puppet Show' last!

U2 faced the opposite of this argument during PopMart. There were cities where they had played arenas and sold out during ZooTV, then played stadiums which sold more seats than the arenas but did not sell out during PopMart. These were reported like not as many people came to see them as last time.

Lots of multiple shows. Coldplay, Oasis, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift. Ed Sheeran did multiple shows a few years ago.
No.
They'll probably do a couple of nights at WS or Twickenham.
A North of England show or two.
A Scotland show and maybe a Cardiff show.

They prefer playing different locations but did do a residency in Las Vegas. They do like WS, unlike Glasto.
